But first, we begin in the United States where a judge, Eileen Cannon, has said she is skeptical

about federal prosecutors' requests that the trial of former President Donald Trump

formed allegedly mishandling classified documents be held by mid-December.

But it's still unclear if the trial will be held before or after the 2024 presidential election,

in which Mr. Trump is hoping to be the Republican candidate.

Earlier in the day, the former President said he had been in his words

targeted in a letter by Lawyers for the Special Counsel,

whose investigating efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election

took here in four days before a grand jury.
