0:43.8	there. So let me explain. We've got Trump suddenly moving to block the Strait of Hormuz. This is one of the
0:49.2	most critical oil routes anywhere in the United States. Strait of Hormuz is responsible for a huge chunk of global
0:55.9	oil flow. When you disrupt it, even if the United States doesn't use oil that passes through
1:02.1	there, when you disrupt that, it tightens supply globally and it's going to send prices up.
1:09.3	It's going to mean more volatility. It will leave country
1:13.3	scrambling to figure out where do we get oil from, but also what do we do about the higher
1:19.2	prices as a result of the straight of Hormuz being closed. Cool. Now here is where it gets
1:24.3	interesting or dystopian. And we've already sort of explored this in the past, but now with the closure of the
1:30.3	Strait of Hormuz, I think it's even more relevant.
1:32.6	Trump is not talking about security or Iran or regional stability when he is doing this.
1:43.0	He's also talking openly about boosting American oil exports. Trump said to
1:49.3	Maria Bartaromo yesterday, listen, we don't get a lot of oil from there. And also, we've got oil
