The tariff letters from President Trump to foreign leaders keep on coming, including one Thursday to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, raising tariffs on imports from Canada from the current

25% to 35% effective August 1st. For the record, Canada is America's second largest

trading partner, accounting for about 12 and a half percent of two-way trade in goods last month,

according to figures from the Census Bureau. That's somewhat below Mexico with about 16 percent,
