Today's guests, Corey Lewandowski and David Bossy, the Trump advisors who are the authors of the new book, Let Trump Be Trump.

It's a weird thing in Washington. It really is true, though Donald Trump is the president. You don't find too many people who think, without a doubt,

he's the best. That, of course, doesn't reflect where a lot of the people who voted for him are,

but the conversations among senators, representatives, operatives, aides, this goes for Republicans

and Democrats alike, that I'm having and that other people I know are having all the time

are full of, at best, doubts,

but that often turn to outright rage or mockery.

And again, that's not just Democrats.

Sometimes it comes out in the open, like we've seen with Bob Corker and Jeff Flake, the retiring senators.

Most of the time, still,

it's an off-the-record conversations that I and other reporters are having, or often that we're

hearing about from others. Lewandowski, who is Trump's first campaign manager, and Bossie,

who was the deputy campaign manager brought in later, are different. They love Trump. And maybe more

importantly, they're in awe of him, or at least put on a good show of it, which is even more

distinctive given that Trump fired Lewandowski and has brought neither of them in to work for him

at the White House. And that's why with their new book coming out this week, again, it's called

Let Trump Be Trump, though Lewandowski told me he

didn't realize that came from the old West Wing line of Let Bartlett be Bartlett. I thought we should

have these guys on to talk about their insider account and their sense of where that puts this

presidency. Of course, insider might be stretching it a bit. They both sign non-disclosure agreements,

and they say that the book doesn't violate them. So take that all with a grain of salt. And people have already challenged certain
