Greg, glad to be here. Thank you. Well, let's start with the big story. That's the one that we got
0:41.8	after we finished recording yesterday. And that's Trump's decision on the tariffs. He announced
0:49.6	them on April 2nd. And on April 9th, he backed down to some extent on most countries with a very
0:56.7	significant exception of China. So yesterday, the president sends out on social media,
1:01.8	based on the lack of respect that China has shown to the world markets, I am hereby raising
1:06.5	the tariff charged to China by the United States of America to 125% effective immediately.
1:12.1	At some point, hopefully in the near future, China will realize that the days of ripping
1:15.5	off the USA and other countries is no longer sustainable or acceptable.
1:20.1	Conversely, and based on the fact that more than 75 countries have called representatives of the
1:24.8	United States, including the Departments of Commerce, Treasury,
1:28.1	and the U.S. Trade Representative to negotiate a solution to the subjects being discussed relative
1:32.2	to trade, trade barriers, tariffs, currency manipulation, and non-monetary tariffs,
1:37.5	and that these countries have not, at my strong suggestion, retaliated in any way, shape,
1:41.6	or form against the United States, I have authorized a 90-day pause
1:45.9	and a substantially lowered reciprocal tariff during this period of 10% also effective immediately.
