and the Trump presidency for the New Spectator USA website. I'm joined today by Sarah Elliott,

who is chair of Republicans overseas the UK chapter, and we're going to be talking

about Trump's state visit to Britain. So, Sarah, I'd say it's gone pretty well so far. That's what

everyone seems to be saying, no major gaffs, and the dinner last night seems to have gone pretty

well. Would you agree with me? Oh, yes, definitely.

I mean, there was typical Trump reaction to what I feel Sadiq Khan did on purpose to instigate a response from the president with his observer piece, calling him a fascist. And Trump responded

in Trump fashion, which actually made me laugh out loud. And then we move on from that.

Well, I actually think that Trump-Sadik thing is part of the protocol now. It's almost a ritual

that those two attack each other on Twitter. And if anything, I tried to say this yesterday on

Spexas USA. I tried to say that if anything, Trump shouldn't really reduce himself to Khan's bait, but he shouldn't

rise to the bait because I think maybe he thinks British mayors are more important because

they are in America. They're probably, they probably have more powers. And actually it's probably,

I mean, at this point, Sadiq Khan, the only time we hear about him, actually, is when he's doing

nothing about knife crime or trying to troll President Trump.

So perhaps President Trump got trolled himself.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I mean, he's – Sadie Kahn's trying to make himself relevant, right?

Yeah.

You know, I mean, he hasn't done an exceptional job in the city, and he's rallying the base to himself.

So what a better way than they call the UK's best ally a fascist?
