Summary

Introducing Bleep! with Ana Navaro, a new weekly podcast from Hyphenate Media Group and iHeart's My Cultura Podcast Network.

Maria Hinojosa, Journalist and Host of Latino USA, joins Ana this week to discuss Marco Rubio's evolution and his plans for remaking the hemisphere. Plus, Ana unpacks other outrageous behavior coming from Trump's cabinet. Listen to new episodes every Monday on iHeartRadio and YouTube.

About the Show: Fear thrives in silence and confusion. Ana Navarro rejects both. Her voice is an antidote to today’s chaos. Her new podcast, Bleep! with Ana Navarro, takes on today’s most pressing issues with the voices most connected to it: decision-makers, political leaders, cultural shapers, and people on the frontlines of the story.

The conversations acknowledge the emotions we all feel—despair, sadness, fear— but emerge with knowledge, perspective, and hope. The belief is simple: fearless dialogue can transform fear into courage, and courage into change. When fear dominates the headlines, this show digs deeper. Because information, debate, and conversation don’t just ease fear, they give us power to shape the future.

Hey, everyone. It's been a chaotic week again in the news. All sorts of things are happening.

0:16.0

But today, I want to suspend a little time highlighting what the fuck is going on with Donald Trump's cabinet.

0:24.4

Seriously, what the bleep is happening with these people?

0:27.3

It's like secretaries gone rogue.

0:30.9

Secretaries gone wild.

0:32.6

We're going to have a great show.

0:33.7

We're going to talk about it one by one.

0:36.3

Some of the best or worst moments of some of these

0:40.2

secretaries, because I think it's, you know, it's so much that I kind of feel like the

0:46.4

cumulative insanity of it all, we are missing. So let's break it down. So listen, I have found it,

0:57.1

cringe, as the young people say, amusing, disgusting, the whole thing. I mean, it's just insane. I can't overuse the word

1:04.7

insane when it comes to Trump's misadministration. But this cabinet in particular, it is so different

1:10.3

from Trump's cabinet in his

1:13.0

first term. I mean, that was bad enough, but at least there were people in that cabinet who

1:17.9

were qualified, who had some sort of moral compass. Most of them ended up getting fired, of course,

1:25.7

when they didn't do exactly what Trump wanted and they didn't genuflect enough.

1:30.5

So Trump term, too, he has surrounded himself by yes, men and women, highly unqualified, some of them highly immoral, doing performance art for him on a daily basis.

1:48.7

And I think we should talk about some of them.

1:51.7

First, let's start with our dear Secretary of Commerce, the Honorable Howard Lutnik.

1:59.9

Okay, so Howard Lutnik is a very wealthy finance guy from New York, been a friend of Trump's

2:07.1

for decades from the New York circles.

2:10.4

But here's the part I want us to focus on.
