James Comey's firing. The fallout continues.

Hello again, I'm Arunalny, and this is To the Point.

Acting FBI director Andrew McCabe contradicted the Trump White House today, insisting

the Bureau had not lost faith in former director James Comey. MacKee promised to notify a Senate

Committee of any interference into investigation of the Trump campaign's contacts with Vladimir

Putin's Russia. What do we know about those contacts and how they relate to Trump's business interests

and those of his family? Later on today's program, the rate of police killings of unarmed

people is on the rise, but Black Lives Matter is changing tactics. A transition from street

protest to civic action has been spurred by the policies of Donald Trump. And there's special attention this week to Mother's Day.

A shift to civic action on the local

level is being called the cutting edge of civil rights activism in the age of Donald Trump.

That's the second half of today's program. First, the aftermath of President Trump's sudden

firing of FBI director James Comey. Acting Director Andrew McCabe was a witness today before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Questioned by Oklahoma Republican James Lankford, McCabe said the Bureau has the resources

to continue investigating the Trump campaign's connections to Russia and that no experienced agents
