Donald's mass federal layoffs, which are becoming both more thoughtless and reckless, just had a new level of chaos.

As President Trump and Elon Musk escalate plans to downsize the federal government, confusion about who has a job and who doesn't.

NBC News obtaining an email trying to unfire employees at the National

Nuclear Security Administration, saying in part the termination letters for some NNSA probationary

employees are being rescinded. Officials admitting they do not have a good way to get in touch with

those personnel. Musk telegraphing last week that he could falter in his

effort to crush fraud, waste, and abuse. It's just nuclear weapons. That's not really important or serious,

right? Just I want to pause for a second. They fired people for no cause, I guess to be more efficient.

And now they know they need to rehire them because they've left this country at very serious

risk because our nuclear warheads aren't exactly being monitored carefully.

But they can't rehire them because they can't get in touch with them.

That also sounds very efficient.

And again, in an internal email obtained by NBC, NNSA admitted that it had no way to reach

the fired employees since they lost government email access, and that is because of Elon Musk, giving it to

other people who could not have any access to anything. Officials are now relying on colleagues

to pass the message along. Again, very efficient. This all comes as the agency monitors nuclear threats, one of which just occurred recently

when a Russian drone struck near the Chernobyl power plant the same day these terminations

went out.

I'm sure it's a coincidence.

We are 21, sorry, 28 days, 28 days into the Trump regime. And already these failures are becoming

more commonplace than not. In other words, shock and awe is over and this is just the way things are.
