Daniel and I had the foolish idea of trying to be a bit ambitious and connect our

substack apps to stream yards.

Usually it works for other people, not for us, folks, which is why we're in the humanities

and do this instead of making a lot of money.

But we're so glad you all stayed on.

You're like, is everything okay?

It is.

It was just two humanities majors trying and failing to be technically savvy.

But folks, that's the state of the country right now because Donald Trump's fascist boot is finally on the necks of fellow Americans.

And we have the battle for Los Angeles, which is also a metaphor for the Battle of for America and the Constitution.

Because if they can unleash the National Guard and the military and ice thugs in Los Angeles,

what they're doing is setting up a sneak preview for what they will do in your towns,

for anyone and everyone who defies this corrupt, vulgarian, this caucusocracy, kleptocracy, oligarchy,

which is why it is all of our interest to call it out for what it is,

not go beat around the Bush, not talk about Joe Biden's health,

not do both sides, call out the fascist and figuratively punch the fascist bully in the mouth.
