Our top story, Democratic Congresswoman Summer Lee, beat back a primary challenge in Tuesday's

Pennsylvania primary and now goes on to run for re-election as the Democratic candidate in the November

election.

Lee, a first-term member of Congress, and she is part of the squad, has been critical

of Israel's war in Gaza. Even before October 7th, back in 2022, when she first ran for Congress,

Lee had to do battle with APEC-funded super PACs attacking her leftist policies. You know, those super PACs,

though, it was dark money. They never mentioned her policies on Israel, and they didn't identify

as belonging to APEC. What you had was APEC through another super PAC funded by APEC.

They were running anti-Summerly ads, never mentioning that they were paid for by the far-right

conservative APEC, which speaks solely for Benjamin Netanyahu's hard right party of ethno-nationalists in Israel.

APEC backed off this time, but she still faced stiff competition from Democratic challenger

Bavini Patel, who lost last night by a landslide.

Our top story, Summerlee, Congresswoman Summerlee, wins the Pennsylvania primary by a 21% landslide.

George Santos, who brought joy

to millions, announced yesterday

he is dropping out of his race for New York's first congressional

district because sadly he was unable to raise money.
