We, as always, have an interesting show lined up for you all.

First of all, looking in Afghanistan with Dr. Caraphano.

It was a great interview.

Again, we're bringing you some of the most interesting perspectives from within the Heritage Foundation.

Jim has great relationships with folks in the White House and at the Pentagon and has just a really interesting perspective on the President's announcement on Afghanistan, which was made last Monday night and on the heels of sort of a summit at Camp David with his generals and Vice President Pence and some others weighing in on that policy.

And he made a definitive decision and announced it.

So we've got Jim in here to analyze it for us.

Again, it was awesome.

Yeah.

And it happened to line up pretty well to talk about some of the news of the day.

We were able to talk to him briefly about the response to Hurricane Harvey.

Of course, we've all been watching the news on that.

Tragic events unfolding.

You know, it's one of those things.

The pictures or the images on a TV screen really give you a sense of the scope of a disaster.

Because we have hurricanes every summer.
