Summary
Just in time for President Trump’s 80th birthday, we are told workers have removed Donald J. Trump from the Kennedy Center facade after a failed last minute appeal by the DOJ. Beginning Friday night, workers spent 8 hours setting up scaffolding and massive white tarps to conceal the removal, as hundreds gathered to watch and livestream the moment. As of this recording, the tarp is still up, but the Center’s executive director has filed a sworn declaration that Trump’s name is gone. Trump did get one legal win this week, allowing his UFC fight on the south lawn to proceed as planned, however, Mother Nature may have other plans with severe thunderstorms forecast for the evening.
