Over the weekend, Donald demonstrated just how increasingly unhinged, out of touch with reality and out of control he is. It is long past time for

Republican members of Congress, especially Republican members of Congress, to step in and put a check on

his insanity because he's continuing to put this country and the rest of the world at risk.

For one thing, last week, federal prosecutors in D.C. opened a criminal investigation into federal reserve chair, Jerome Powell.

The probe is allegedly examining whether Powell misled Congress about renovation plans for the Fed's

headquarters, which I am very sorry to say sounds absolutely absurd on its face. The actual reason is that

Donald is having a temper tantrum. He continues to be

angry at Powell for refusing to do what Donald tells him to do, what Donald wants him to do,

which is lower interest rates. Powell refuses to do this because he actually understands his job and he understands how the

American economy works. Now, for over 100 years, the Federal Reserve has acted independently

of the executive branch. Despite this precedent, Donald has repeatedly threatened Powell

with firing and other punishments for failing to give in to his pressure campaign.

Now we're seeing how that retribution is playing out. The investigation was approved by Donald's

allies at the Department of Justice, the U.S. Attorney for D.C. and former Fox host, Janine Piro.

Of course, Piro is going to go along with this because she is incompetent and unqualified

for her job as Donald is for his.

The question is, will the American people fall for this?

Because this is just another long line of malicious prosecutions.
