Howdy everyone, welcome to TYT, Anna Kasparian and John. I'd roll-up with you. John, it's Wednesday,

and it happens to be the day that Joe Biden has been inaugurated. So I'm really happy to

be able to do the show with you today.

I think too. The Wednesdays this year have been out of control, by the way. I hope next Wednesday

is just chill for once.

Right, right. Well, I will say though, even though John typically hosts with me for both

hours on Wednesdays and while Jake is supposedly taking some sort of sabbatical to write his

book, I literally contacted him at six in the morning today and said, are you really not

going to do the show today because I won the bet. But we're going to have a debate about

that. He will be joining in for hour two. I believe he's trying to move the goalpost,

but I'm not buying it. I will make my case, we'll discuss it in hour two. But in hour

one, lots of news surrounding Biden's inauguration, lots of punk ass behavior from Donald Trump,

now the former president. So really looking forward to sharing what his morning was like

with you all. And we have some policy stories to get to as well. But first, before I get

to all of that, I just want to make some programming notes for you, including a programming note
