Well, legal stuff because man it's crazy out there. A lot of legal news today

I want to get to in a bit. In our second hour, our good friend, Lawrence Ross, is back. He's one of America's

most important lecturers and writers of African American literature.

He's written six books including The Divine Nine, the history of African American fraternities and sorarities,

and the ways of black folks, a year in the life of a people.

He's going to be with us to talk about college sports and politics.

He's lectured at over 500 colleges and universities and every time we're in the

West Coast we always try to get Lawrence Ross to come down tonight. We lucked out.

Oh, it's a beautiful day here in LA except in my place because my little child we traveled here two weeks ago and we thought hey we're

going to do two weeks living in LA working I'll work remotely and in the studio the woman I

live with is working remotely and the kid hanging out we go to the beach pop around try to not

spend too much money last week the child gets a cough a bad cough and uh it not not

too bad at first but it lingers a couple days, then it stays. By today, it's like nine days.

When your kids cough reaches the nine-day mark, that's when you have to pretend to be a good parent

...
