Donald has always used threats of lawsuits or actual lawsuits to stack the deck in his favor.

This has been his modus operandi for decades now.

Here's generally speaking how it works.

He hires a contractor to do work on one of his projects.

The works gets done, but Donald claims it's of poor quality and he shouldn't have to pay them. So he refuses

to do so. The contractor sues to get paid for the completed work and then Donald, with his army

of lawyers and unlimited funds, drags the lawsuit out until the contractor facing bankruptcy either withdraws the suit or agrees to be paid pennies on the dollar.

That's the kind of person and businessman Donald has always been.

He's used this as a tactic throughout his adult life, and it's something he's continued to do in his capacity as president.

In the last 10 months alone,

Donald has sued Paramount. He has sued Meta. He has sued Google. The list goes on and on.

And time after time after time, these media conglomerates have capitulated.

Let's take Donald's $10 billion lawsuit against Paramount, for example.

This lawsuit was based on Donald's claim that 60 Minutes, which is a CBS show and CBS is a network owned by Paramount, had deceptively edited a 2024 interview with then-president

Kamala Harris to, quote, tip the scales in favor of the Democratic Party, unquote.

The case had no merit, and Paramount would easily have won it, but because the corporation

had a merger pending with Skydance that required federal

approval, they settled the case, essentially gifting Donald's $16 million so they could get their

multi-billion dollar merger, which they did. Shortly after this, Stephen Colbert admonished the CBS parent company on The Late Show,

and days later, Colbert's show was canceled.

After meta suspended Donald's Facebook and Instagram accounts in the wake of January 6th,

Donald sued the company over censorship issues.
