I'm Matthew Eglace, here with Ezra Klein.

We have both just watched, um, Donald Trump and Joe Biden debate.

This was a much less weird spectacle than the first Trump Biden debate.

It bore, I would say like a strong resemblance to other presidential debates that you've

like seen in the past.

And that's sort of good from like a Weeds perspective.

There were real policy arguments, glossed.

There was even, I think some moments where people, you know, candidate shorthanded things

that could stand for some kind of spelling out here.

But on a high level, what did you, what did you see?

So a couple of things.

I did think this was Joe Biden's strongest debate, particularly for long stretches that

I've seen him in with the exception, maybe of the one-on-one Biden Sanders debate.

He was just much more in command.

He was clearer.

He had sort of a long period, particularly around the family separation debate of being able
