the hostages back. We're getting, and they're going to hopefully come back in a good, healthy state.

That was President Trump speaking to Fox News last night following the announcement that Israel

and Hamas have agreed to the first phase of

his peace plan. The question is, what comes next? Meanwhile, on Capitol Hill, the government

shutdown is creating more tension between lawmakers with a couple of heated exchanges yesterday.

The question is, are both sides still committed to this current stalemate? Also ahead, an update

on the staffing shortages, causing major delays at

several airports. The question is, can this be resolved while the government is still shut down?

President Trump says that both Israel and Hamas have agreed to the first phase of a ceasefire and hostage release deal.

He made that announcement yesterday evening in a post on social media.

In it, he says all remaining hostages held by Hamas will be released.

He also says Israel will pull its troops back behind and agreed upon line.

Israel's ambassador to the United States said last night that a 72-hour clock to release the living hostages will begin once the Israeli cabinet meets later this morning to approve the deal.
