Welcome back to Sarah Gonzalez Unfiltered. Boy, you take off for a weekend and all hell breaks loose, I guess, in the Middle East. So obviously, there's a lot that's

taken place for those of you who were not able to pay attention over the weekend. Let's do a just

kind of a rundown of what happened over the weekend with the Israel, Iran, also now United

States conflict.

So this Saturday, Donald Trump announced that America had successfully bombed several of Iran's nuclear facilities.

Now, remember, this is after he, I think this was very smart.

This is the man who wrote the art of the deal.

This is a master negotiator. And he had just put out messaging that he would not be making. He didn't decide what to do in a couple of weeks was what he said. That was where he left it on Friday. I might come out in two weeks and tell you guys what I plan to do. We're going to take some time to talk about it. And in the meantime, he actually crafted this really, really insanely airtight decision to successfully bomb these nuclear facilities. And here is President Trump's announcement.

A short time ago, the U.S. military carried out massive precision strikes

on the three key nuclear facilities in the Iranian regime,

Fordot, Natanz, and Esfahan.

Everybody heard those names for years as they built this horribly destructive enterprise.

Our objective was the destruction of Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by the world's number

one state sponsor of terror. Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular

military success. Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally

obliterated. Iran, the bully of the

Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier.

For 40 years, Iran has been saying death to America, death to Israel. They have been killing our people, blowing off their arms,

blowing off their legs with roadside bombs. That was their specialty. We lost over a thousand people

and hundreds of thousands throughout the Middle East and around the world have died as a direct

result of their hate. In particular. So many were killed by

their general, Qasem Soleimani. I decided a long time ago that I would not let this happen.
