dramatic weekend following Donald Trump's executive order on refugees and immigration last Friday.

I'm Tamar Keith, I cover the White House. I'm Carrie Johnson, just a correspondent. I'm

Domenico Montenaro, political editor. And I'm Mara Lias and National Political Correspondent. And

Mara, you are joining us from the White House. Yes, I am. And the rest of us are here in one of our

usual studios. Wow, it's been a weekend. The second weekend of Donald Trump's presidency

has been full of drama. And I just want to back up to the beginning Friday evening when this

executive order came out. There was a signing ceremony at the Pentagon. I'm establishing new vetting

measures to keep radical Islamic terrorists out of the United States of America. We don't want

them here. We want to ensure that we are not admitting into our country the very threats our soldiers

are fighting overseas. So that was Friday. So what did we know about this order at that time?

I feel like this has been sort of dribbling out. We knew the order barred Syrian refugees

indefinitely from entering the U.S. It placed a 90-day stop to all other refugees and
