0:35.6	to ABC News, which was the first to report this news, it follows months of negotiations
0:40.5	between federal prosecutors and Pence's legal team. Not surprising, but spokespeople for
0:45.8	both the former vice president and the special counsel have declined to comment. Joining
0:50.4	me now is my colleague and anchor of the beat, Ari Melbur, Peter Strock, former FBI counterintelligence
0:56.7	agent, and Charles Coleman, a former prosecutor. And Ari, I'm going to start with you. It is a big
1:01.1	deal. But it is not a specifically big deal because we don't know exactly what these probes
1:05.8	are about. But can just give us some context as to what this means.
1:11.3	Number one, it means a special counsel, Jack Smith, is going up the line. This is very
1:15.8	near the top vice president. We all know. Number two, after that, you have Donald Trump,
1:21.0	the former president. So they're going up the line and get this information. Number one,
1:24.6	number two, it means that if whatever reason they've determined that they're not getting
1:27.8	it easily voluntarily. Now that doesn't mean anything bad per se. It means either they
1:34.3	have a witness who doesn't want to testify in Mike Pence or they have Mike Pence as
1:38.1	lawyers saying, this is a tough one. Yeah. If it comes out that there's a subpoena, it
1:42.6	would make it easier for them. It could be a strategy. And number three, then New York
