In cities across the United States, people are flooding into the streets to make it clear to the Nazi thugs who have signed up to be ICE agents that they are not welcome,

that they should basically fuck off and leave our immigrants and undocumented workers alone.

On November 29th, agents from U.S. Customs and Border Protection,

the Department of Homeland Security and ICE assembled in a parking garage near Manhattan's Chinatown,

which is just a few blocks from where I live.

These so-called agents were gearing up for a large-scale raid.

That is, until over 200 New Yorkers barricaded their vehicles from leaving the facility

because in New York, we do not stand for such kinds of vicious, cruel, unconstitutional behavior.

The New York Police Department showed up to break up the protest, but is that really what was going

on? Here is NBC New York with a closer look.

After a standoff between demonstrators and law enforcement

ended with multiple people in handcuffs.

The confrontation broke out outside of this parking garage

on Center Street and Howard Street just before noon

after demonstrators say they witnessed federal agents gathering for a possible immigration raid.

Just last month, another clash broke out between protesters and law enforcement in Chinatown after ICE agents arrested vendors for selling counterfeit goods.

My wife and I received a message online about it and we came down here

from the Upper West Side to give our voices and allegiance to people against ICE and against the

illegal activities that I started doing. Video from the scene shows demonstrators using potted

plants as barricades. One man was seen standing in the way of a police van.
