So last week, President Trump signed an executive order with the goal of expanding access to and lowering the cost of in vitro fertilization, known as IVF.

This is not a good thing.

This is not pro-life.

Trump is wrong.

You know what we do here at the Seth Kruber show.

We praise politicians when they do good things to create an expectation of more of those good things.

And we critique them when they do bad things.

So they hear the outrage of pro-life Christian America and they stop doing those bad things because that's part of what self-government means.

This order directs Trump's assistant for domestic policy to come up with a list of policy ideas

for protecting IVF and aggressively reducing out-of-pocket and health care costs for IVF treatment within the next 90 days.

Why? Because in vitro fertilization is expensive.

It's estimated each round of IVF costs anywhere from $12,000 to $25,000. And many couples go through several rounds before they get a healthy baby that will be born. So you could be looking at $50,000 or more.

You might remember, we actually excoriated Trump at the time almost a year ago, almost a year ago, when an Alabama ruling had labeled frozen embryos as extra uterine children,

which banned IVF temporarily in the state of Alabama. Trump came out,

Kerry Lake came out, and they were all, you know, this is horrible. IVF is wonderful.

And it became part of his promises on his campaign trail that IVF would be free for all families,

either paid for by insurance companies or the government. Okay, we're going to talk about why

this is bad, why it's not pro-life, why it violates

children's rights, why it opens up the door to redefining the family as we know it, why

it's not a conservative principle, and why it needs to be completely banned even though

there's one tiny little ethical way in which you can justify it.

There's no way to maintain that while prohibiting the other forms of practices that endanger children's rights.
