Season's greetings, I think.

Maybe not.

Because thanks to Donald's horrendous economic policies, the United States is having an extremely

and increasingly unhappy holiday season.

Unfortunately, it's also on track to be an absolutely awful new year as well.

According to CNN, retailers have drastically cut back

on seasonal hiring this year.

The National Retail Federation expects roughly 40% fewer

holiday workers to be hired in 2025 than last year.

40% fewer.

Analysts like Challenger Gray and Christmas and Indeed Hiring Lab report the lowest

seasonal hiring since 2009. Black Friday and Cyber Monday saw big numbers because of higher prices,

not increased demand. With sales down, companies are giving existing staff more hours and

increasing automation. A recent

Galluphole found that consumers are tightening their belts this season due to low confidence

in Donald's economy. The findings say, quote, Americans now estimate they will spend on average

$778 on Christmas or other holiday gifts, which is down $229 from October's $1,07.

The figure is also significantly below last year's November estimate of $1,012.

That doesn't sound good, does it?

How do you help keep an economy strong? Well, people have enough expendable income to

pump more money into it. But with prices rising and paychecks not going as far as they used to,

this is going to be a very, very difficult holiday season for many of us.
