0:26.0	I didn't think I would ever be invited to testify before Congress,

0:32.0	I was invited to appear before Chairman Jim Jordan's House
0:40.9	weaponization of government subcommittee.
0:45.0	But maybe not surprisingly, I wasn't invited by Chairman Jordan.
0:50.0	I was invited by the ranking Democrat member of the committee, Representative Stacey Plaskett.
0:56.9	And I accepted the invitation and was told that I would be discussing, among other things, the rule of law busting Project 2025.

1:11.6	It's 900 plus pages long. It is the Republicans blueprint for
1:17.4	autocracy. And you may have heard about the Schedule F sort of plan to do away with, you know,
1:28.3	thousands and thousands of career civil servants, public servants, and populate the Department of Justice and other
1:36.2	agencies with political appointees who pledge their loyalty to who?
1:42.4	Donald Trump, not to the Constitution. So Trump, if elected, which
1:48.6	he won't be, would populate the Department of Justice with thousands of loyalists and flunkies, lap dogs,
1:57.8	and sycophants who would do Donald Trump's bidding his dirty work.
2:04.3	Essentially, you know, this plan would consolidate all power
2:09.6	in the president, in Donald Trump.
2:12.4	Donald Trump would be investigator, prosecutor, judge, jury,
2:18.3	executioner, all rolled into one.
