This week brought us a host of new insights into the relationship between Donald Trump and Republicans on Capitol Hill.

Here's the upshot of what we learned. Wow, this is much crazier and more dangerous than you thought.

First, Politico reported that Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson privately schemed over how to use the

House to sabotage ongoing prosecutions of Trump.
