He recently announced on social media that he was pardoning Tina Peters, a former Colorado

County clerk, though his pardon power only covers federal crimes, not her state convictions.

He wrote online the Democrats had, quote, been relentless in their targeting of her.

She caught people cheating on an election election and they said she was cheating.

She wasn't cheating.

She may not be a household name, but Peter's case has become a rallying cry for MAGA and the president

since her conviction last year.
