destruction of its nuclear program, what kind of deal does the U.S. want? Plus, new figures show

with the Wall Street Journal. We're joined today by my colleagues on the journal's opinion pages,

editorial board member Elliott Kaufman and columnist Alicia Finley. The Iranian government

has now reportedly killed thousands of protesters after President Trump warned that if they

start killing people like they have in the past, we will get involved, unquote. And amid

questions about what the U.S. might now have in mind, the aircraft carrier USS

Abraham Lincoln arrived late last month in the Middle East. News here on Tuesday now that an Iranian

drone that threatened the carrier was shot down in the Persian Gulf by an F-35 fighter.

Ellie, what do you make of the move of naval assets into the Middle East and what it suggests

about the options that President Trump at least seems to be keeping open with regard to Iran?
