In an unhinged rant on social media over the weekend, Donald Trump made some of his most expansive and specific threats yet to prosecute and jail his political enemies if he wins the

presidency. He also flatly declared at a rally in Wisconsin that his plan for mass removals

of migrants will be bloody. All this comes as new polls show that the race is

very, very tight. So what does it mean that for now at least, Trump doesn't seem to be paying a

political price for running on overt and increasingly explicit threats of authoritarian rule?
