Donald Trump said a deal with Iran isn't even fully negotiated yet

his claim that one had been largely negotiated and dismissed those critical about something they

know nothing about. Several Republican senators have criticised reported details of the deal.

Diplomats say a main sticking point is when Iranian assets will be unfrozen,

at the beginning of the deal, or 30 or 60 days into it, depending on progress on the nuclear issue.

Officials said that American Secret Service agents returned fire on a gunman near the White House,

killing the individual. The suspect, reportedly a 21-year-old known to the service,

approached a checkpoint to enter the complex and drew a gun.

A bystander was hit and injured,

although it has not yet been revealed by whom.

Mr. Trump was in the White House at the time,

but was unaffected, a spokesperson said.
