One day after President Biden signed a wide-ranging pardon for his son Hunter, Donald Trump,

is hinting at mass pardons for January 6 defendants. Daily Wire's senior editor, Cabot Phillips,

has the story. In a post on truth social, Trump called Biden's 10-year pardon a, quote, miscarriage of justice

and criticized the Justice Department for being, quote, Democrat controlled.

Trump's team issued a separate statement vowing to reform the Justice Department,

calling it weaponized against political opponents.

Meanwhile, Hunter Biden's pardon wipes out his convictions on gun and tax evasion charges,

as well as any other crimes he may have committed over the last decade. President Biden defended

the move as protection against what he called selective prosecution. Congressional Republicans

quickly condemned the pardon, accusing Biden of corruption and broken promises.
