Do you remember the night Donald Trump was elected that momentous night 8 November 2016?

Good evening and welcome to election night 2016.

What a crazy campaign this has been.

I'm Anthony Zerker on the BBC World Service and this is Trump re-elected.

We'll be reenacting that night and looking ahead to 2020 to see if

President Trump can win another four years in office.

And in four years we're going to win it by even more.

My 8th of November night started at Hillary Clinton's campaign headquarters where crowds were gathering to witness what they thought would be

a night that would change America.

It was, but not as they imagined.

Well, you know, I'm normally a glass half empty kind of guy.

Jim Margolis was a senior campaign consultant in Clinton's war room on election night.

I'm always thinking we're never going to make it, even in 2012 in that race with President Obama.

I was always nervous.

This was the first big presidential campaign,
