of trying to think about this as a big picture, and whether or not it's Ukraine or Gaza is something

that's happening as a whole. Your research focuses on great power competition

and international security, and you've written recently about the prospect of a new era of

we've been in an era of great power competition for a while, arguably over a decade,

and that we're continuing to see these types of great power conflicts, but in some ways they're
