Welcome back, Tom Hartman here with you. We need to talk about Trump-proofing democracy for 2024 and beyond. You know the billionaires, you know, I mean there's some

good billionaires but there's a lot of billionaires right-wing

billionaires who are essentially embracing fascism.

They've been embracing the Republican Party forever put Trump into office.

They continue to support him.

And they're carefully watching Trump and his administration,

they're watching Bill Barr,

to see what works and what doesn't.

How far can you push the destruction of the United States of America?

How far can you push the rule of law?

How much into the corner can you push American working people?

We've stripped American working people of unions,

the billionaires have, where they're bought and paid for laws and Supreme Court,

you know, they have stripped workers of

protections they're gutting OSHA for example I mean it just goes on and on and

and in every case they're saying you know how far can we push this and Trump has been you know sometimes

intentionally sometimes just because he's you know bumbling has pushed the

lines you know a lot of things were held together by tradition, not law.

He has just smashed through those. He's also trashing the law itself, you know,

whether it's stuff like, you know, Hawking Goya Beans from the

Resolute desk in the White House, you know, I think, remember when Obama saluting
