The ABC affiliate in Sacramento was hit by gunfire.

A day earlier, there were protests at KX TV over the indefinite suspension of Jimmy Kimmel.

And people were working in the building.

Somebody could have been killed.

But fortunately, there were no injuries.

Most of the stories I had, I saw didn't describe the assailant other than to note that, or it was self-evident, I should say,

that he had a Latino name. But I did find one story that described him as a former health

policy analyst for the California Indian Health Board.

And before the shooting, day before the shooting, this person said this in a posting,

where is a good heart attack when we need it the most?

You can imagine who he's referring to.
