Trump was asked about a Washington DC football stadium and let it be known he would have never changed the team name. You know, one of my biggest issues with Trump, and I'm not, you know, again, I'm not trying to make things super political. I don't give a shit. I didn't vote. Whatever it is what it is. But one of the things about Trump that I find fascinating is just the things that he makes a big deal out of that are not a big deal. And then when you think about it, it's like, all right, dude, why is this something that you're focusing on?

Why are you doing this?

0:28.2

And a lot of times it's because he's trying to cater to kind of the lowest common denominator people, which is not always the case.

When I was watching Trump on the campaign trail, and he was in these interviews with

0:46.6

like Joe Rogan or the Bussing with the boys guys or Theo Vaughn or whoever it was,

0:57.2

I think he's a guy that's genuinely interested in things and likes to learn about things, right?

1:02.6

But I really liked what I heard in a lot of that.

1:07.2

And now as you kind, again, I didn't vote for the guy.

1:09.9

I didn't vote for anybody. And now apparently Elon Musk is going to I didn't vote for the guy, I didn't vote for anybody.

1:11.1

And now apparently Elon Musk is going to like run a, on the platform of the middle, you know, three years from now or whatever.

1:19.5

But anyway, so I'm listening to this and I was kind of intrigued by it just because I'm like, hey, listen, like I think the guy is truly someone who's curious about things,

1:28.3

and I found him to be likable in that setting.

1:31.4

One of the things he does that I find to be awful is that he focuses on these very small things

1:39.8

that really nobody cares that much about, but they're usually tinged in some sort of racial context

1:47.8

or some sort of thing that anytime you try to defend the guy,

1:52.8

it's something people can go back to and go,

1:55.1

why does he care about that this much?

1:57.5

And the reason he cares about those things that much

2:00.2

is because he's throwing a bone
