We'd like to get right into it, and what we're going to get into today is the issue of

Trump obsession and how that is playing a role in analysis of the midterm results.

I want to go into especially the issue of abortion, what we know about it, and how that plays

into this Trump obsession.

Now you got to remember that when the conventional wisdom was that abortion would be a huge issue

in the midterm elections, then the election came and a lot of data confirmed that it pointed

to the fact that yes, abortion did indeed play a big role.

But now the subject most people are talking about is Donald Trump.

Now you think that's an exaggeration, it is not.

Look at Meet the Press, NBC's Sunday political talk program, the first Sunday after the midterms.

Look at the transcript.

The transcript shows the word abortion was uttered, mentioned three times.

While the name Trump was mentioned 63 times, okay, three mentions of the word abortion.

And this is all a discussion of the midterms, three mentions of the word abortion, 63 mentions

of the name Trump.
