President Trump and NYC mayor-elect Mamdani are shaken hands in the Oval Office today.

The pair will discuss key points of Mamdani's campaign platform, public safety and affordability.

Mamdani, who requested the meeting, said he wants to speak plainly about New Yorkers who, quote,

are struggling to afford this city.

Trump said he wants, quote, to see everything work out well for the Empire City.
