Trump and BB Netanyahu strike Iran. Iran's state media has officially confirmed Ayatollah Ali Khamini,

supreme leader of Iran, was killed Saturday by targeted Israeli and American missile attacks.

Kamenei was just the second leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which took power

after the Shah of Iran was toppled.

In 1979, he was 86.

He ruled for 37 years killed in his home office.

Iran will convene a temporary leadership council Sunday,

and they will pick a temporary new leader.

The BBC late Saturday, first confirming the report issued by Prime Minister of Israel,

Benjamin Netanyahu, that Khomeini was dead. It was officially announced by American President

Donald Trump, who said the Ayatoll had been killed. Trump called him one of the most evil people in history,

but there had still been no confirmation from Iran state media. BBC Verify got his hands on

before and after satellite photos of the Ayatollah's compound, and you can see the top photo shows the compound in somewhat

pristine condition. Late Saturday, below that, we were able to see that the compound was

completely destroyed. I believe the compound is called the Pasteur-Gated compound. It's on

Pastor Street in central Tehran.

The street is named after Dr. Louis Pasteur.

It's in Central Tehran.

It's the home of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Kamani.

Well, it was his home and it was his office.

It was also the headquarters for a senior leadership.
