The Arab Spring may be making a return. A rebel uprising in Syria has now officially toppled the Assad regime. The country became a key focus of the uprisings in 2011 where people were overthrowing dictators in the region, but ended in Syria mainly through Russian intervention. And now, with a power vacuum taking place, as Russian and Iranian forces are pulled into their own conflicts, it appears those revolts are back. Despite this, President-elect Donald Trump is also issuing a warning to the United States to not intervene, suggesting this is not America’s conflict. 1:07.3	overthrown in Libya, and so on. on it ended in Syria and now a rebel uprising in
1:13.3	Syria has officially toppled the Assad regime it happened very rapidly the country became a focus in
1:20.9	the uprisings in 2015 again the Arab Spring people were overthrowing dictators all across the
1:26.6	region it was starting to get to the
1:28.9	borders of China. The CCP was freaking out. It started getting to the borders of Russia. Russia began
1:35.4	freaking out. And because they were worried about uprisings in their own countries, they viewed
1:41.0	the Arab Spring as something they had to stop for their own stability.
1:45.3	It ended in Syria mainly because of Russian intervention.
1:49.6	And you might remember what happened with that.
