The Quiet Storm, of course, is the Worshawk test question of whether the impeachment trial

that ended with a 5743 vote represents an unprecedented slap at Donald Trump and

at a president the first time that such numbers have been registered in an impeachment trial

for people, for senators in the same party as the president, seven of them voted to convict

or that he has survived and thrived and demonstrated that his control of the Republican Party is

close to absolute and that the kinds of statements being made by people like Marco Rubio in explaining

their refusal to vote for conviction are indications and particularly the behavior of Lindsey

Graham which we can go into at greater length are occasions for just simply the revelation

that Donald Trump isn't going anywhere, his control of the party isn't going anywhere

and that in fact that which did not kill him has made him stronger.
