Today is the day that I was supposed to be launching my new book, The Preventive State.

And of course, I picked the Harvard Club of New York.

I've been associated with Harvard for 61 years, and they sent out invitations with the book,

and hundreds of people responded, saying they're coming.

And then suddenly they send a letter to the people who responded, not to me, saying,

we've canceled or postponed, we've been speaking to the writer, we'll try to reschedule.

They didn't speak to me.

I didn't even know about it until I found out from some people who were scheduled to come

that they canceled it.
