all right hey hello everyone welcome to it is the Derek header podcast for the 16th of

august 2022 happy Tuesday to I tell you you know it's just one of those times where you're

sitting there and you going that was a glorious day what day was it and I really literally had

myself convinced it was like Sunday all day Monday I don't know what the hell is going on except

that I am enjoying fresh air in the middle of the woods and we spent the day while we spent

yeah good chunk of the day on Maconaw Island if you ever get the chance to go to Maconaw Island I

highly recommend it it is between the upper and lower peninsula of Michigan it's an island there

no cars it's expensive to stay on we can stay on it but it's if you've got the means check out the

grand hotel horse-drawn carriages all that good stuff it's just and they're famous for their

fudge if you're into fudge I'm not into fudge but if you're into fudge it's famous for its fudge

just fun took the girls to a butterfly house which is just essentially 10 bucks to stand in a room

with a bunch of butterflies then you they eat flowers and it's humid but it was nice it was

it was great there were a little scared of them at the beginning but then they they came around so

good to them and good times were had by all right going to be an abbreviated program as I said

simply because it is just to the point of absurdity just a few things to talk about like

this story here the president of the you know former president of the United States is out there

looking at a situation where allegedly Donald Trump's passport was seized by the Department of

Justice as part of this raid what in the hell are they thinking he's going to do defect somewhere

is that where we are as a society that really like I always I thought that the arguments about

oh my god this is third world tactics and blah blah blah banana republic yeah it is banana

republic stuff but part of me wanted to go but you know the FBI it couldn't happen here you

just have to sit there and you go this can't happen here not in this country not in the United
