Hey, everybody. Welcome to a live recording of exclusive coverage of the Trump

inauguration. This is the Muckrick podcast. I'm J.J.8. I'm here with my friend Nick Houseman and

co-host. Nick, I got to start off saying, and I told you before we started recording, I feel like I

have the, I've had the

literal hell beaten out of me today. This has been a brutal, awful, tragic farce of a day.

We're going to go through all of it. How are you doing after watching this?

Well, I made sure that my day was chock full of things to do, very busy, very busy.

So while I was having listened to the speech of the inauguration, which was, you know,

slightly heavy, I've been able to avoid the pitfalls of falling into some sort of morass.

But I'm excited to talk to you about it because, you know, I think, I mean, it's important

that we do and sort of figure out how to, you know, process this and make our way forward.

Yeah, there's a lot to talk about here, a lot regarding not just the speeches, but some of the things that we've learned that Trump is going to make priorities on top of that rhetorical ideas that we're going to have to become

very familiar with very, very quickly if we are going to resist this and push back against it.
