Tom Hartman here with you. There's so much going on we're going to get into today.

Fiona Hill, the former National Security Council,

senior director for Europe and Russia,

and David Holmes, who works at the US embassy in Kiev,

or what used to be pronounced as Kieviv, I guess it's Kyiv now.

Both testifying this morning.

So far we have heard them being questioned by the Democrats, and right now the entire committee is in

break because they had to go vote on some legislation on the floor of the House

of Representatives and then when they come back it's going to be the Republicans

turn to ask them a question and I think that's going to get real interesting

because Fiona Hill is basically saying you Republicans particularly

Devon Nunez, are promoting a conspiracy theory that literally

came out of Russia, some kind of Russian disinformation campaign.

And then David Holmes is saying that yeah he heard Trump ask

someone at lunch he overheard the phone call Trump is tweeting out you can't

overhear a phone call I've been

doing it my whole life nobody can overhear it and Connie Schultz the reporter and wife of

the Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown, she tweeted out saying, I was sitting in the back seat when you were talking to a certain person we both know.

I presumably Sherritt Brown and I could hear every word you said. voice carries a bunch of other people you

know I guess Anderson Cooper somebody on CNN tried it live on the air and they
