Trump has called the reporting false and has stated he intends to sue the newspaper and its owner. In a post to Truth Social, Trump wrote: “I look forward to getting Rupert Murdoch to testify in my lawsuit against him and his ‘pile of garbage’ newspaper.” 6:30pm- On Thursday night, Stephen Colbert announced that CBS is permanently ending “The Late Night Show” in May 2026. While on CNN, Brian Stelter baselessly speculated the decision to cancel the show was CBS’s attempt to appease President Donald Trump. Colbert has been an outspoken critic of the president and his administration.
