Tonight is the White House Correspondence Dinner, and Trump is going to be there for the first time

his entire presidency, either presidencies.

He has never showed up.

He doesn't like getting made fun of.

He doesn't like poking fun at himself.

But tonight, he is going to be sitting there in a room, a room that traditionally is supposed to represent freedom of press and freedom of

speech in America. And that's where the tension is here, because Donald Trump is anything but.

Donald Trump is the farthest thing but from somebody who cherishes or is okay with freedom of speech

and freedom of press. So I want to point out this tension,

and I want to point out that we are not obligated

to treat this administration with any sort of respect.

The press, journalists, commentators, people like you and I,

we are not obligated to treat an administration with respect

when they've treated us with the maximum amount of disrespect,

trying to silence our voices.

Donald Trump will apparently be showing up to this dinner tonight.
