Well, good Monday morning.

Welcome to another episode of the Chuck Toddcast.

I really want to be uplifting.

I'm not going to lie to you.

But first of all, even in my, even in the world of lightness, meaning my sports fandom,

I'm feeling down in the dumps thanks to the gnats, getting swept by the frickin' marlins,

the forkin Marlins.

I'm going to get this rant out of the way really fast, but let me just say, as much as I love

Davy Martinez, it's time to go. It is time to go.

We need a house cleaning with the Nats. It's pretty clear. This coaching staff and these players are

not connecting, and he threw the players onto the bus over the weekend. It's bad. So I say this,

this is the lightest thing I'm going to talk about because we are obviously

living in a very, very dark period. So if you are listening to this on a Monday morning,

it is painfully obvious. Both the world and this country are in desperate need of presidential

leadership. And we're about to find out whether Donald Trump is up to the moment.

And I'm saying it that way because we almost have no choice.

Because I know many of you don't believe he's up to the moment.

I know many of you believe he's caused all these moments.

I'm a huge skeptic myself, but here's the reality.

We don't get to pick a different president just because the moment feels bigger than the man in office.

At least we don't get to pick one yet.

You only get one president at a time.
