The Michael Barry Joe Trump's core of support is his candor, his, his bluntness, his fighting

spirit, even when they have him down, his fighting spirit.

And other Republicans just don't do that.

But what he, what he flashed last night, which I think was necessary.

And I think that's why it's getting a lot of attention.

He flashed his sense of humor.

And sometimes Trump doesn't display his sense of humor because humor can come off the

wrong way.

Humor can come off as desperation.

If it falls flat, it looks like you're trying too hard.

It's a lot easier to be angry and a spirited fighter.

You just grit your teeth and push and this is what we're going to do.

But to be funny, that's not easy.

And it doesn't come naturally to Trump because that's not his image is the jokester.

But when he does it, juxtaposed to his tough guy image, it really, really adds to his

arsenal.

And you saw some of that last night, we'll get to some of that in the rest of the clips

coming up.

But here was Trump, you know, this Caitlin Collins really wanted to focus on this trial

because in her world, seeing in this trial is everything.

But in Trump world, the people who love Donald Trump don't care about the trial.
